Teen Vampire Costume Ideas
One of the most sought after costume ideas of teenagers especially boys are vampire costumes. Of course, every teenager boy would want to become one because vampires are known to capture, without fail, the heart of every girl that their eyes lay on.
Fortunately, there are easy and cheap yet stunning vampire costume ideas for teenage boys and girls out there who want to spend a night as a gorgeous yet frightening creature of the dark.
Vampire costumes are primarily divided into that of the traditional and that of the contemporary. The traditional vampire costume is built on a number of layers of clothing with the addition of some iconic accessories. In this vampire costume, a white long shirt is must. This shirt must have by all means a full sleeves as well as a high collar. A bow tie that is white, black or red is also necessary. As for the bottom part of the costume, a black slacks, dark socks and black leather shoes would be perfect.
Another important part of this vampire costume is the cape. The cape should have high and upturned color so as to have that typical Dracula look. Then again, the most important of all are the accessories given that it can either make or break the vampire costume.
Some popular choices when it comes to these accessories are that of the pocket watches with chains, rings, metal clasps, pendants, top hats and walking canes. Of course, these costumes will only be complete with a matching hairstyle. An up combed hairstyle or a slicked back hairstyle will then do the job.
On the other hand, a contemporary vampire costume for the teenage boys is that of the gothic look. This style is suitable for those who are not reluctant in reinventing the classic vampire look.
Usually, this style makes use of black skinny jeans, leather belts with accoutrements, long coats, chains and other accessories which would help one to get that modern yet hot vampire look. The hair can also be worn in a slicked back manner across the forehead. Ponytails, even braids and short raised cuts would also do the job for that of the contemporary vampire look.
Either ways, in order to fully complete that much wanted vampire look, a vampire make up is necessary. In order to complete that vampire look, an extremely pale whitish foundation is needed. A pale look is really important since vampires are known to be pale creatures.
Red lipstick is also needed as vampires are also known to have those red luscious lips. Eyeliner should also be put on so as to be able to highlight the eyebrows. Eyebrows should be thin and at the same time well formed.
I think the underworld vampire is one of the scariest costumes I’ve ever seen. But I know that it’s popular with teenage boys these days. Vampires seem to be such a big theme this season with all the paranormal influence out there–Harry Potter and Twilight…
