Plus Size Vampire Costume Ideas
Halloween especially trick or treating are said to be made for all the kids out there. Then again, no one said that adults can’t celebrate it and have some fun in the process. Moreover, no one said that adults can’t wear costumes no matter what shape or size one is in.
As a matter of fact, there exist a wide range of adult costumes out there which is made available for both men and women. What is more, these adult costumes come with a plus size version. And so with that, anyone can just have some fun during these costume parties.

This is because among these mystical creatures, vampires are one of the most alluring thanks to their glamorous look. Luckily, even those with plus size can be one of these enchanting creatures. And if one searches hard enough, one can have the perfect costume. However, a vampire costume isn’t complete with just that perfect dress. For this reason, in order to complete that perfect look that will surely sweep everyone off one’s feet, the perfect make up should also be applied no matter what. Vampire make up primarily consist of three colors which are white, black and red.
Some splotches of purple or blue could also do the trick for the much wanted undead look. Vampires are more often that not being portrayed as silky and sophisticated, so in applying make up, one must make sure that one’s application is nothing but precise and neat.
Vampires are creatures that sleep in their coffins during daytime and lurk outside during the night. Because of this, vampires have that extremely pale skin. Unfortunately, no one has that skin. Then again, fortunately, one can have that skin through and with the help of make up. Having a pale skin is extremely important in becoming a vampire therefore one should use the lightest foundation that one can find. Some face paint or makeup will also do the trick.
An important thing to remember here though is that vampires don’t have rosy cheeks so do away with the blush. The only blush that one can find in a vampire’s face is perhaps their lips. Because of that, one must have very red lips. This is necessary since vampires love blood and blood is nothing but red. This can be done by applying a red lipstick or a lip stain.
The vampire’s eyes are as important. In order to have these tantalizing eyes, one needs a lot of black eyeliner for one’s eyelids and eyebrows. This eyeliner should be applied to both the upper and the lower part. This should then be further enhanced with a black or gray eye shadow.

Vampire costumes are perennial favorites as far as Halloween parties go…well themes really if you consider the success of the twilight books and films. It’s such a seductive notion to be able to live forever, have superhuman powers and dress in such cool gear. I think Anne Rice’s books..interview with a vampire etc. are the only one’s that show you some of the downsides of being a vampire. For instance, the little girl never being able to grow up is the hollow irony of immortality. Although you can live forever you can never change or grow so what’s the point. Anyhow get a vampire costume for the night, it’s good fun…or a pirate costume..that’s just as much fun.

My family are mostly into Angel Outfits but I’m rather partial to something a little more wicked. These costumes look great and I have nearly a year to persuade my wife and family to change themes for next Halloween. Nobody should be a “goody goody” every year, where’s the fun in that?
